Before you read on, it may be useful to point out that St George’s is on the same site as Ashlands, and supposedly specialises in the care of individuals with dementia. Individuals who develop dementia in Ashlands may well become candidates for St George’s. Tanworth Court Nursing Home Solihull. It was rated as ‘requires improvement’ in terms of leadership and safety in its 2022 CQC inspection. It’s the company’s response to the ‘matters of concern’ raised by the death of a resident. The letter claims to address the following issues: no record of the incident; no investigation of the accident or the circumstance giving rise to it; no evidence of a commitment to learning from this incident with a view to
safeguarding residents in the future. So, 4 pages of promises from PrimeLife.
Holmes House, Wigston. Inspectors say Leicestershire care home was ‘visibly dirty‘.
