Individuals who develop dementia in Ashlands may well become candidates for St George’s. It’s the company’s response to the ‘matters of concern’ raised by the death of a resident. The letter claims to address the following issues: no record of the incident; no investigation of the accident or the circumstance giving rise to it; no evidence of a commitment to learning from this incident with a view to
safeguarding residents in the future. So, 4 pages of promises from PrimeLife.

Holmes House, Wigston. Inspectors say Leicestershire care home was ‘visibly dirty‘.
